Who We Are
A specialist studio for high-stakes music preparation.
Your Sound, Our Craft.
The Studio
Built around one standard: the score has to work.
A musical score can look correct on the page and still hand string players impossible bowings, or brass parts that leave no room to breathe. When that surfaces in rehearsal, sessions run late, players lose confidence, and it is your project on the line. ScoreMasters® exists to keep that from ever reaching your music.
ScoreMasters® is a specialist studio for orchestration, arranging, and music engraving, founded in 1997 by composer Samy Elgazzar. Based in Athens, Greece, we have worked with clients worldwide since 2006. We turn creative visions into publisher-quality, performance-ready orchestrations and scores, through personalized expert guidance and a proven vision-alignment process, at transparent prices. The result is that you walk into every rehearsal and recording session with complete confidence.
Every project is prepared under the personal supervision of a credentialed composer-orchestrator-engraver, never a marketplace and never an anonymous back office. That is the point: your score is shaped by musicians who have spent their careers on how real players and real instruments behave.

Who We Serve
We prepare music for the projects where the result is non-negotiable: film, TV, and game composers heading to the studio; publishers and rights-holders heading to print; musical theater, songwriters, artists, and producers; ensembles, choirs, and orchestras; educators and institutions; classical and concert composers; and sacred-music settings.
Why Clients Choose Us
Clients trust their most demanding scores to one name for what nearly three decades of focused practice make possible: composer-level musical judgment, publisher-grade engraving to the conventions of Elaine Gould's Behind Bars, comprehensive format support, and a definitive quote in USD, EUR, or GBP within 12 hours.

The Expert Behind the Score
Samy Elgazzar
The bridge between what you imagine and what your players can perform.
Samy has prepared music professionally since 1995; ScoreMasters® is the studio he built around that standard in 1997. He is an award-winning composer, orchestrator, and music engraver, and by his own definition a bridge: between the composer and the orchestra, between technology and the musician, between a concept and a publication. Converting creative intent into precise, performable notation is the one thing he has done, at the highest level, for three decades.
His musical judgment is not self-declared. He holds a B.M. in Composition, Magna Cum Laude, from Berklee College of Music, where he received the Youth Concerts at Symphony Hall award, and a Master of Music in Songwriting, with Distinction, from Bath Spa University. His own music has won, too: Luce Lontana took first in its category at the West Coast Songwriters Contest, and his album Memories from a Dream was an Independent Music Awards finalist. The person deciding how your orchestration breathes competes at that level himself.
He learned engraving as a discipline in its own right, with a further year and a half of specialized study in music notation at Berklee, by hand and by computer. He is a lifelong engraver and a recognized Finale expert, once part of the Finale support team for the Greek dealer Fagotto Music, and equally fluent in Dorico and Sibelius. Whatever software you work in, your files are in expert hands.
The names on his work are the proof the studio rests on. His orchestrations have been recorded by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the City of London Choir, the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonie Leipzig, and the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, and released on BMG, Universal, Polydor, and Legend. He arranged the centennial program for Mimis Plessas at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, and the Special Olympics anthem for the City of Athens Philharmonic, performed during the Games. His engraving carries the names of Mikis Theodorakis, Jani Christou, Victoria Jordanova, and Stefanos Korkolis, pianist Martin Mayer's The Solo Piano Collection, and the publisher Editions Bim.
He is also, by long habit, a teacher. He has taught at conservatories and online platforms in Greece and abroad, served as a teaching assistant for Berklee's courses on Coursera, and wrote two manuals, Fundamentals of Musicianship and Introduction to Music Technology, adopted as official textbooks where he taught. He still writes for working musicians, on subjects ranging from why Theodorakis matters in music engraving to preparing a DAW session for orchestration. The same teacher’s instinct shapes every ScoreMasters® score: each page is prepared so the musician reading it can simply play.
