ScoreMasters® prepares music for performance, recording, and publication across five services: Orchestration & Arranging, Music Engraving & Score Preparation, Music Transcription, MIDI to Score, and AI Music to Score. Since 1997, that work has been commissioned by composers, songwriters, and producers, by publishers and rights-holders, and by artists, choirs, and orchestras. Many of the projects below appear with the recording alongside the finished score.
The work samples on this page are presented to illustrate ScoreMasters® engraving, orchestration, and arranging. All music and scores remain the copyright of their respective owners.
Orchestration & Arranging
A sketch, a lead sheet, a piano part, or a MIDI file already holds the music. Everything after that is instrumentation, balance, and voicing, worked out with you and to whatever brief you bring, for any lineup from string quartet to full symphony orchestra. Since 1998 that work has been released on BMG, Universal, and Polydor and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra. The works below are what those decisions sound like in performance.

Music Engraving & Score Preparation
Musicians judge a score in the first few seconds on the music stand. Good engraving makes the reading effortless: spacing that breathes, page turns placed where a hand is free, and each type of marking exactly where the eye expects it. We have prepared scores and parts since 1997 for composers including Mikis Theodorakis and Jani Christou and for publishers such as Editions Bim, working from handwritten manuscripts, sketches, and music notation files alike. Each example below is a page an ensemble could read at first sight.
Music Transcription
Some music exists only as sound: a recording, a video, a live performance, a melody hummed into a phone. We write it down by ear, with the voicings, inner lines, and phrasing that give a performance its character, and never with detection software. The results range from lead sheets and piano-vocal scores to choral parts and full orchestral scores, prepared for artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Colin Schachat, and Stefanos Korkolis. Each example below is a recording alongside the score it became.

MIDI to Score
A DAW session holds every note you wrote, but not in a language players read. Velocity is not a dynamic, and a line programmed for a sample library may not survive a real breath or bow. We translate the session into a score and parts that keep your music intact and work for the ensemble you have booked, a service we have offered since 1998. Every recording below began as a DAW session.
Given his demanding schedule, internationally acclaimed composer and concert pianist Stefanos Korkolis commissioned the scoring of his “Fantasia for Piano and Orchestra”, from the MIDI production to a fully notated score and parts, performed by the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra.
Excerpt from Piano Concerto in B Minor by composer and pianist Time Wanderer, heard here as an audio mockup. A contemporary symphonic work featuring a wealth of inspiring sonic textures, compelling rhythms, and demanding piano passages. Scored for Picc., 3 Fl., 3 Ob., 2 E. Hn., 3 Cl., B. Cl., 3 Bn., C. Bn., 4 Hn., 4 Tpt., 3 Tbn., B. Tbn., Tba., Timp., Perc., Cel., 2 Hp., Pn., and Strings.
Chronos by composer Thanasis Nikolakopoulos, from his instrumental album Adimonio. This inspiring and emotive track is scored for Fl., 4 Hn., Timp., Perc., Pn., and Strings. Performed by the Sofia Amadeus Orchestra.
As Tears Go By, written by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Andrew Loog Oldham, in a cover version from the Brigid Boden album Innocence Is Not a Crime, scored for Picc., Ob., Cl., 2 Hn., Timp., Perc., Hp., and Strings. Performed by the Sofia Amadeus Orchestra.
AI Music to Score
An AI platform can give you a finished track in minutes, but not parts a musician can read. Inner lines drift, rhythm patterns change for no reason, and whole instruments disappear into the mix. We notate every line by ear, keep what the AI got right, and resolve what it did not, so the music can move from playback to live players. When a track needs more, we add orchestration or arranging, as in the first example below.
A Prayer for Peace, an instrumental piece generated in Suno, with additional orchestration by ScoreMasters®, scored for flute, piano, strings, drums, and electric bass.
